Despite the crazy looks my parents gave me when I told them I would ‘be back in a bit, going for a run’ I actually did the thing. ‘The Thing’ being taking that first step to achieve my #bodygoals (EXID’s Solji/ AOA’s Choa/Jimin, if any of you were wondering – being positively petite brings petite-ish girls as aspirations).
But running with no tunes is a slightly daunting prospect, and sometimes finding the perfect motivational tracks takes some searching. So I did that super helpful thing and have hit gold with some 8tracks playlists that have summer vibes, and also hopefully give you that little extra motivation if you need it!
If not, then they’re some pretty ace summer playlists 😀
Starting with a pretty ‘feel good’ playlist, with some top tracks from this year, 15 tracks (26 minutes) of tunes that will make you feel like you can take on the world. There’s a mix of chart, edm and other motivational tracks.
A mix of EDM and hip-hop here, but with beats that are gonna keep you moving for that half-hour stint. (20 minutes, but ok). Aptly titled ‘you got this’, you do, indeed, have this.
It wouldn’t be my blog without some representation from the countries I study for my degree. So I thought having a super-girl-empowering playlist featuring some of Korea’s finest girl groups would fit quite nicely with this motivational music theme. It’s a lengthy one at 1hr 8mins but hey let’s do the girls proud.
And finally, a bunch of tracks to inject that little somethin’ somethin’ into your workout playlist. To get you moving.
