Life is too short for boring shoes

Best shoe picks 2015 uk blogger

I love a pair of plain black flats or boots or heels as much as the next person - I love shoeeeeees in general. But sometimes life is far too short for plain black or safe colours or sensible heels and fastening and designs. Too short, even, for cult classics, blogger faves and passing runway trends.

I am a strong believer in the slightly odd and 'guaranteed to turn heads' vein of shoe design. [seen here and here/here] We all know how happy I was that the cleated sole and block/chunky heel hit the high street, because yes, want them all want them now, basically. So what else am I loving when it comes to shoes? What do I class as not boring?

I think it's clear that I'm loving pastel shaded anything at the moment, they're such a nuisance to keep clean but look so pretty and dainty on, even if they have massive heels or platforms... Oh well, I'll just have to avoid all the mud and prance around in floaty dresses all summer. Which, by the way, should really hurry up.

Which are your favourites from these? If any ahah. What do you like to look for in a shoe - are you a fan of the weird and the wacky, or prefer a more understated place to put your tootsies and an outrageous outfit? Let me know!

  5. I'm loving all your platform picks! I'm only 5'2" so I'm super excited that platforms are in style. I can finally be a regular sized person!

  14. Urgh Fii why are some of these so expensive ): Don't you know I have to feed myself?!

I might die if I don't get to own 2, 3, 5 or 6 in the top picture. Nothing from the bottom pic is calling my name but I really dislike flat shoes (#sorry) because I'm a midget :))) But #2 will be amazing statement shoes and I could wear #5 as an everyday kinda shoe and it's a lil' girlier than the rest that I own...

I still need your black&white striped wedges though. They might disappear from your wardrobe one day, heads up!

    1. I'm sooooo sorry. Ish. Maybe. Not.
I thought it'd be a bit unfair if all the shoes were platforms or heels so threw the flats in for variation! But some of these I NEED. REQUIRE NOW.

and oh. Ok. I'll just have to steal you to make sure they don't go too far...
